Jennifer M. Sheard-Lynch is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University Chicago and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central State University.
Jennifer specializes in working with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, stress management, depression, substance abuse, relationships, and adjustment to life transitions and challenges. She has provided counseling for a wide variety of clients, ranging from in-home to outpatient services. She also works with couples to improve communication and facilitate stronger relationships. In addition, she has several years of experience working with teenagers by helping them establish self-confidence, healthy boundaries and resolve parent-child conflicts.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, incorporating humanistic, cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques. She believes in a holistic view of therapy that focuses first and foremost on a supportive relationship between counselor and client.

Marquita Thompson is a Licensed Professional Counselor that uses a collaborative approach drawing from evidenced based treatment models such as Brief Psychodynamic approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Solution focused and strength based. Our work together will be customized to fit your needs.
Marquita works with individuals, families, teens, children ages 4 and up dealing with a variety of issues. She provides counseling for a wide variety of clients, ranging from in-home to outpatient services. Her specialties include family trauma, grandparents raising grandchildren, and parenting issues. Her goal is to provide clients a safe space where they feel comfortable sharing their story while gaining hope, self acceptance, insight, and confidence.
In her role as your therapist, she is here to be with you in the moments that seem the hardest, most frustrating, and at times require your last ounce of strength.
