Jennifer M. Sheard-Lynch is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Community  Counseling from Argosy University Chicago and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central State University.

Jennifer specializes in working with adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety, stress management, depression, substance abuse, relationships, and adjustment to life transitions and challenges. She has provided counseling for a wide variety of clients, ranging from in-home to outpatient services. She also works with couples to improve communication and facilitate stronger relationships. In addition, she has several years of experience working with teenagers by helping them establish self-confidence, healthy boundaries and resolve parent-child conflicts.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative, incorporating humanistic, cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques. She believes in a holistic view of therapy that focuses first and foremost on a supportive relationship between counselor and client.

As all professional counselors in Ohio do, Jennifer works under supervision and direction. This ensures that providing you with the highest quality of care possible, and provides you with a person to contact, should you ever need to, regarding the care Jennifer provides. Marquita Thompson, LPC

Supervisor & Therapist

Marquita Thompson is a  Licensed Professional Counselor that is trained and using principles from evidenced based treatment models such as Brief Psychodynamic approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Solution focused and strength based.  Our work together will be customized to fit your needs.

Marquita works with individuals, families, teens, children ages 4 and up dealing with a variety of issues. She provides counseling for a wide variety of clients, ranging from in-home to outpatient services. Her specialties include family trauma, grandparents raising grandchildren, and parenting issues.  Her goal is to provide clients a safe space where they feel comfortable sharing their story while gaining hope, self acceptance, insight, and confidence.

In her role as your therapist, she is here to be with you in the moments that seem the hardest,  most frustrating, and at times require your last ounce of strength. We all need support- psychotherapy is the tool that I have been educated and trained in to assist you on your journey through the chapters of  life.

Courtney Carroll, LPC

Courtney Carroll is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cincinnati Chrisitan University and her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from The Tennessee State University.

Courtney specializes in working with women, entrepreneurs, adults and adolescents that are dealing with anxiety, stress management, low self esteem,  depression, anxiety, relationships, adjustment to life transitions and challenges. She has experience in psychiatry inpatient services, case management, and school counseling. She is also open to working with couples that need assistance with communication, intimacy and creating a strong family bond. She has always had a passion for adolescents and young adults. Courtney has spent the past 8 years facilitating groups, after school programming and curriculum creation to help build the self esteem and identity of youth. 

Her therapeutic approach is integrative,cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques. She believes in the power of creating a calm and holistic space for therapy.

LaTonya McKinney, LPC

LaTonya McKinney is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. As a licensed mental health professional, it is her hope and goal to empower clients by providing a non-judgmental environment and support. She helps her clients effectively address personal life challenges and discover they have answers within themselves. She enjoys engaging in open and honest dialogue and teaching the value of possessing healthy self-esteem.

Working from a cognitive behavioral therapeutic standpoint, she provides group and individual counseling for depression, anxiety, PTSD and stress to help individuals tap into their inner strengths to be their best self. She believes that individuals want to be heard and understood and feel accepted.

She believes that all individuals have the right to be treated with respect, dignity and kindness no matter their race, color, gender or sexual orientation.
