Karisma is a current graduate student obtaining her masters in clinical mental health counseling with a specialization in crisis and trauma counseling from Walden University. Moreover, Karisma is a Chicago native who attended Central State University, where she received her bachelors degree in Sociology. Some of her current academic achievements include being a proud member of Chi Sigma Iota counseling academic and professional honor society, and a member of the American counseling Association.
Karisma has experience in mental health case management and working with children, youth, and adults teaching them positive coping skills to help them along a more effective and efficient path. Karisma’s therapeutic approach is a combination of person centered care and ognitive behavioral methodologies. Karisma prides herself in compassion and advocation to and for others. Karisma is truly passionate about serving others and supporting her community as a whole.
